The Royal Suite
With breathtaking dual aspect views across the estate parkland and 735 ft² of luxurious space, the Royal Suite is among the largest and most distinguished suites in any Scottish castle.
Enjoyed by His Majesty King George VI and Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother, during their many visits to Carberry Tower, the Royal Suite is named in their honour and offers a truly private and magnificent retreat.
From the elegant four poster bed to the gilded mirrors and ornate furnishings, the suite invites guests to experience a small piece of Scotland’s rich royal heritage while enjoying exceptional comfort and space.
The generous living area flows into a palatial bedroom and a grand en suite bathroom featuring twin sinks, a double shower and a beautiful double ended bath, perfect for long and relaxing soaks.
For added comfort, guests will find Miller Harris bathroom products, plush bathrobes and slippers, and a Zenius Nespresso coffee machine with a selection of pods and teas. Private room service is also available should you wish to enjoy drinks, dining or a quiet evening in front of the large flatscreen television.
For families or small groups, additional full size single beds can be arranged by our housekeeping team. An elevator provides convenient access to all main floors of the Mansion House.

With sweeping views across the estate parkland and 850 ft² of luxurious space, the Mary Queen of Scots Suite is among the most impressive suites in any Scottish castle.
Overlooking the elegant Parterre garden and with far reaching views towards Carberry Hill, where Mary Queen of Scots was captured in 1567, the suite beautifully blends remarkable Scottish history with modern comfort and refinement.
An elegant living room leads through to a sumptuous bedroom and a magnificent en suite bathroom featuring twin sinks, a double shower and a striking double ended bath, perfect for long and relaxing soaks.
Throughout the suite, ornate chandeliers and marble fireplaces are complemented by plush sofas and rich drapery. The Royal Coat of Arms carved into the bedroom fireplace commemorates a visit from King George II in the early 1800s and stands as a reminder of the unique heritage and grandeur of this remarkable space.
For added comfort, the suite includes Miller Harris bathroom products, plush bathrobes and slippers, and a Zenius Nespresso coffee machine with a selection of pods and teas.
